This is the Bristol Keep Our NHS Public group. The aim of this site is to keep both the public and fellow health workers in and around the Bristol area up to date with what is going on in the NHS. We are a group of individuals who are concerned about the changes that are happening within the NHS and the way that it is being turned into a market place and privatised. We are affiliated to the national Keep Our NHS Public campaign www.keepournhspublic.com most of us work in the NHS and can see at first hand how these changes are affecting patients and staff. We, together with other like minded groups and organisations are trying to challenge the current ideological thinking that is driving the changes in the health service, on the grounds that they are detrimental to the public interest, will cost the taxpayer more in the long term and will benefit primarily those who have the money to invest and expect a financial return from the NHS.
